Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners Names William Kircher …

SINGAPORE, Aug. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ –

Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners announced today William C. Kircher has
been named vice president, Singapore Overhaul & Repair. In this newly expanded
role, Kircher will lead Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners’ six part
repair and engine overhaul businesses in Singapore and Taiwan. Pratt & Whitney
is a division of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

Kircher will continue to be based in Singapore, and will oversee Singapore Part
Repair Operations, International Aerospace Tubes – Asia, Combustor Airmotive
Services, Turbine Overhaul Services, Eagle Services Asia and Asian Compressor
Technology Services. He will also lead Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners’
corporate activities in the region, and be responsible for several initiatives
including furthering relationships with partners, customers and key
stakeholders in the region, identifying strategic opportunities in new and
existing markets, and coordinating operations.

Most recently, Kircher served as general manager for Eagle Services Asia, the
company’s Singapore-based engine overhaul facility. He joined United
Technologies Corp. in 1999 and has held various positions including general
manager of Turbine Overhaul Services in Singapore and Asian Compressor
Technology Services in Taiwan – both of which led to ACE Gold, the highest
standard of Achieving Competitive Excellence, the UTC operating system.

Kircher holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University in
Industrial Engineering and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of
Management at Northwestern University. In addition, he is the chairperson of
the UTC Singapore Operations Council.
